Jeannie Sego
Architect
In her childhood, Jeannie would lay on the living room floor, drawing floor plans in her
notebook and dream of a career as an architect. She now holds a Bachelor’s in interior
design from Purdue University and a Master of Architecture from Ball State University.
She completed an undergraduate internship and worked as an architect with
PHANOMEN. Additionally, she gained experience on K-12 and Higher Education
projects at CSO Architects and successfully achieved architecture licensure in 2016.
Desiring an atmosphere that could expand on her strong foundational background along
with an intimate studio setting, she returned to PHANOMEN in 2023.
Jeannie played an integral role in the development of BRU and RIZE, among others.
She worked closely with the client through construction documentation and
administration of Anthony’s Chophouse. She brought her unique skillset to the design
and documentation of the ground-up build of Grindstone on the Monon. After taking a
few years off to focus on her children during their critical developmental years, Jeannie
is ecstatic to be back to collaborating with her PHANOMEN phamily.
Jeannie brings a unique repertoire of skills to both the firm’s architecture and design
teams. She enjoys the technical side of architecture, coordinating with engineers, and
working closely with clients. She believes in creating beautiful and functional spaces
that enhance a company’s brand and empower clients to succeed. When Jeannie isn’t
working, she’s riding her bike, hiking, cooking, watching movies or spending time with
her girls, Camila and Juliette.
